Its On ! The Annual Coatesville  Parade December 3 Should Be A Blast

I have a heart for Coatesville, PA because that is where my father in law grew up on a farm in farm near the mill. Many of my relatives have worked the land and worked at the mill. This Christmas Parade has been around since the 70’s.

The people of this town is a true picture of Americas blue collar work force. Coatesville people are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. Plus the have the best Cheesesteak you ever had!

COATESVILLE — Chester County’s largest hometown parade, the Coatesville Christmas Parade, takes place down the historic Lincoln Highway, on Dec. 3, 2022. Originally a community project in the 1950s, the parade was then taken up by the Jaycees back in the 1970s, but leadership disbanded a decade later. In the early 1990s, missing the spectacle and sense of community spirit the parade inspired, a group of former Jaycees along with other members of the Coatesville community and with the support of the Stewart Huston Charitable Trust and the City of Coatesville, decided it was time to resurrect the parade tradition. Last year, over 160 plus entries graced the Lincoln Highway from dancers swirling their batons, to fleets of tow trucks, police cars and fire trucks, to local contractors showing off their custom-crafted floats. The Coatesville Christmas Parade has it all.
