Whether You Call It Secondary , Max .33, Mild Carbon, or CQ Steel Plate, Here Are Some Smart Hints On Ways To Buy
Here is some insight from The Falcon Steel Company on how people bought secondary steel seven years ago. Not much has really changed but the most important part are our mill contracts with access to the largest CQ steel plate offering in the business.
The Best Way To Buy CQ Steel Plate
At The Falcon Steel Company we specialize in CQ Commercial Quality Steel Plate from 3/16″ up to 10″ in various lengths and widths. With over 12,000 tons of CQ Plate and access to rail spurs and trucks we can ship from several different locations with ease. TK Metals ships from Burns Harbor, IN., Detroit, MI., and Michigan City, IN.
Our newest Location is Baytown, TX
Although we have tons of 96″ x 240″s your best bargain is to buy our off gauge and widths to save the most money. Our CQ Plate is Max .33, Hot Rolled, and mild carbon steel plate which makes us a great fit grinding, fabricating, and burning. Our CQ Plate does not come with MTR’s (Mill Test Reports) but they do have full Chemistry Reports showing the amount of Manganese, Carbon, etc. If the full chemistry reports are not enough we can order ITR’s (Independent Test Reports) to give you all the specs to see if it meets your project needs.
So next time your buying CQ steel plate you can expect to save money buying off gauge and widths on your next purchase. Call our office to get daily updated quotes to meet your needs.
